About the Teacher
Welcome to my class website! My name is Stacey Jackson and I am a second grade teacher at Detroit Merit Charter Academy in Detroit, Michigan. This is my first year as an elementary school teacher. I am looking forward to September when I will get to meet my new students!
I was born in Michigan and attended school in Utica Community Schools in Sterling Heights. After high school, I attended Wayne State University on a Presidential Scholarship, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 2007. In the coming years, I look forward to obtaining my Master's Degree.
I currently live in Warren with my family. Jason, my husband, and I have been married for four years. In 2007, we added a new member to our family, our son Dean, or Dino as we like to call him. We also have two dogs, Krypto and Lilly.
When I'm not in school, I love spending time with my family, reading, shopping, and doing arts and crafts. Look below to see some pictures of my family!
